The Lakeside Town Farm B&B has a wonderful, rural setting in a small village bordering Oxford South at the foot of the Chiltern Hill, with no passing traffic. The farmhouse boasts beautiful original features and historic charm, with inglenook fireplaces and original wooden beams. For extra peace and privacy, guests can stay in the farm's self-catering garden lodge which is situated by the lake and boasts bright, country-style décor. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the main house, with connection for the lodge available in the guest lounge. With its gorgeous gardens and lakes, the B&B has been featured on TV’s Gardeners' World. Guests can sit by the lakes and the tranquil waterfall, with far-reaching views over the 300-acre farm.

We are at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, in a small village only 2 miles from junction 6 on the M40. Oxford is a 20-minute drive (to the convenient park and ride system), or a bus goes to the city centre every 10 minutes, from a bus stop 2 miles away. London is accessible by bus every 10 minutes, or by train from Princes Risborough, 4 miles away. London Marlybone can be reached in 40 minutes. Places of interest include: Windsor Castle, Blenheim Palace, Waddesden Manor, Hampton Court, Clivedon, (notorious for the Profumo scandle in the 60s), and the Chiltern Hills where there are plenty on footpaths, including the Ridgeway. River-side towns include Henley and Marlow. You can see Grand Prix racing at Silverstone, jousting knights at Warwick Castle, beautiful scenery in the Cotswolds, Disraeli’s home at Hughendon Manor, and shopping at Bicester Village. You could also visit Le Manoir aux Quats Saisons, Raymond Blanc’s restaurant; Chinnor steam railway; Bletchley Park; and the Swan antique centre and restaurant. We are also in the middle of the Midsummer Murder trail.

Deluxe King Room (2+0)
 
This is a charming, romantic room with a king-size bed and en suite toilet/ basin and its own dressing room. A separate shower is available on the floor below. Dressing gowns are provided. The room benefits from magnificent views over the lakes with a host of wildlife and pasture fields with sheep and horses peacefully grazing.
Double Room (2+0)
 
Relax in this cosy, Victoriana room with wrought iron bed and oak beams. The room is decorated to a very high standard with an en suite shower. Enjoy a sherry for that pre-dinner sip, hairdryer, dressing gowns, TV, and a lovely view over the garden and rockery waterfall, beautiful in the spring and summer and cosy in the winter. This is a smaller room.
Garden Lodge (2+0)
 
Enjoy lovely views over the lake and pastures from the veranda, where you can view red kites and have ducks as your neighbours. The Garden Lodge has a lounge, a kitchen area, a king-size bed and an en suite shower. It is very tastefully decorated in a ‘shabby chic’ style. The lodge is on the ground floor only but there are 3 steps leading onto the veranda. A 4-night minimum stay applies on weekdays and a 2-night minimum stay applies at weekends. Stays are on a self-catering breakfast basis.
Twin Room (2+0)
 
The room features Victorian brass twin beds, en suite with bath, separate shower next door, colour TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing gowns, cosy central heating, immaculate furnishings and sherry for that pre-dinner sip. The room benefits from a view over the lakes, garden and the 300 acre pasture fields with grazing animals.
